The Rural Skill Enhancement Program by Vidya Charitable Society seeks to help improve livelihoods among people belonging to rural communities and areas. There is huge untapped potential in rural communities, yet there is a scarcity of skill development opportunities and employment options.
Through the Rural Skill Enhancement Program, we seek to build capacity among rural youth, rural women, and other rural residents so that they acquire practical skills and become self-reliant and self-sufficient economically.
Objective of the Program
The objective of this program is to build up rural communities by developing market-related skills, vocations, and means of livelihood for people so that they may achieve financial independence and sustainability.

Development of Vocational Skills
Training in vocational areas that lead to employment as well as self-employment.
Development of Livelihood Means
Incentive to engage in livelihood activities to uplift their economic conditions and gain self-reliance.
Entrepreneurship Development
Developing entrepreneurial mindset in aspirants by imparting business know-how and guidance on managing enterprises.
Enhancement of Digital & Financial Awareness
Improving digital and financial awareness among the participants for them to be able to cope with the new economic environment.
Career Preparation Training
Preparing young people for employment by equipping them with professional skills, workplace orientation, and communication skills.
